My family ran a parquet flooring company in Niederzier, Germany. Lopark — later Belo Parkett — was founded by my grandparents and grew into something my parents were genuinely proud of. At its peak, more than 150 people worked there. It wasn't just a business. It was a community.

On 19 July 2012, after nearly a century of operation, it was forced into bankruptcy.

Not because the product was bad. Not because the people weren't talented. But because running a business had become too complicated, too manual, and too fragmented — and the tools available to a family-owned SME couldn't keep pace.

I never forgot that.

After years consulting in the flooring and construction materials industry — working with Mobau Wirtz, Classen, and Raab Karcher — I made a move into IT in 2016. Over the next several years I worked inside some of the largest operations in Europe: E.ON, Daimler, Toyota, Kühne+Nagel. I saw firsthand what intelligent automation could do when it was properly implemented. I also saw that it was almost exclusively available to companies with enterprise budgets and dedicated tech teams.

That felt wrong.

Delta was founded in Singapore in 2022 with one clear purpose: to bring the same level of operational intelligence that the world's biggest companies run on — to the family businesses, construction crews, and property operators who need it most but have never had access to it.

In 2025, we opened our second base in Thailand. The businesses we serve span Singapore, Germany, Scandinavia, Southeast Asia, and beyond. But the mission has never changed.

The company my family built deserved better tools. So does yours.
